The Real Beauty Behind Danessa Myricks Beauty

When I think of my favorite brands I can think of a few such as: Starbucks, Cold Stone, Sephora the list goes on really. But when I think of a brand, I really like whose personality is relevant to their target group, honest to what the company can deliver, unique and informed by the positioning the brand, the first brand that comes to mind is Danessa Myricks Beauty.

Danessa Myricks Beauty is a black owned beauty brand that through their innovative and bold products encourages consumers to embrace their creativity and passion. They are constantly posting new videos with demos of their products trying to encourage consumers to be more innovative and creative. Having contests on Instagram and TikTok to see who can do the most creative looks and show off the most skilled makeup artists.

Danessa herself is a makeup artist without any formal training. She is self educated through nothing but research and practice. She started doing making up due to necessity. She was a single mom of 2 working in the medical field who needed a more flexible job in order to support her family while still being in the medical field. She took up makeup and found her passion and creativity in the industry which she now inspires her customers to do.
